Java LOIC-(DDoS) tool
JavaLOIC is a clone of LOIC written entirely in java.
This project is not related with Praetox.Java/Loic is an open-source network attack tool designed to perform denial of service (DoS) attacks.Java/Loic is known as Low Orbit Ion Cannon (LOIC), and was originally designed to work in the Windows platform.Java/Loic is the Java version of LOIC, which works in Windows, Macintosh, and Linux platforms,just doesn't require the .NET framework to run.Also contains ahivemind feature.
To use the tool, the user needs to configure the Twitter account, which acts as the command and control channel. This feature enables voluntary
participation in the DDoS attack, where a remote user controls the target.
Java Low Orbit Ion Cannon (JAVALOIC) packet flooding tool when using the TCP Method option.Attackers can use this tool to send extremely large amounts of packets over the network to attempt to overwhelm a target. When used collectively from multiple sources, a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) can occur. Due to high performance impact this signature can impart, this signature should only be used to protect your servers when under active attack.
